Hello lovely blenderbuddies, my turn to š» again. I hope we will have a lovely weekend together. You know I sometimes try to have a theme for my š»posts, well, this weekend itās Holey trees! Not holly trees, not holy trees, no HOLEY trees. Sorry, Kavya, not more trees this weekend, just holes in them š„“šHiking in the New Forest on Wednesday gave me this idea. Wow, so many of Mother Natureās beauties around, I could ghost for weeks with a new beauty every day. š¤š¤£ But HOLEY trees: there werenāt quite as many, but hopefully you find them as beautiful as I did. Hereās the first one of the weekend⦠tell me what you think? Any holey things you have come across, beautiful or annoying ?!?! Do you see holey trees on your walks? Or you donāt notice trees that much? With me being the ācrazy treeā lady, you know I canāt walk past a crazy/beautiful/amazing/dead/gnarled tree. I love the word āgnarledā, it really conveys the image of the kind of tree I like. Sorry, ramblingš¤. Business now.
Workouts: Iām a bit late doing this checkin as I have already changed the bedlinen and got my wash on. But workoutwise for me itās pickleball later this afternoon. If the sun shows itself and the sea is not too rough, a seaswim might happen. Whatās on your calendar? I know Coby is resting and so is Ocean, probably more as a necessity than wanting to rest. Inge, I have lost track, you seem to have been working out on days I thought you were resting?! Cabob, running? Karen, grandkid chasing? Kavya, another beautiful walk with your mum? Anne and Shelley: day something or other in your programmes?
Food is our next topic: short and sweet answer for me ā. Hubs is cooking, so no thinking about it required on my part, yay! But let me hear your thoughts on todayās food choices. Coby, good luck with your days of fasting. You can do it šŖ!!
Thatās it for now, I am going to do my daily mental exercises (killer sudoku, kakuro etc)ā¦. Iām looking forward to all your dayās āadventuresā, FB or not FB!!!!
Photo: beautiful right?! In replies the tree from a few feet away. As you can see, itās not a dead tree. Itās actually still alive and growing. Amazing really! BTW pics of Christmas trees welcome!
