HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group December 9th
Good Tuesday morning! It’s -25°C/-13°F again here. Wish I could stay warm under the covers all day.
David and I both managed to sleep through the night. It wasn’t the best sleep, as I woke up often to change sleeping positions, and David couldn’t wear his mask from his c-pap machine, because of his stuffy nose, but at least we slept.
He’s feeling better this morning, thankfully. And I am able to move around, no stiffness in my lower back. What a difference a solid night of sleep can make. I’m hoping everyone who needed it slept better last night.
So today, I will attempt to catch up with the 12 Days of Fitmas challenge at work. On day 7, we were were up to the following: 7 bird dogs on each side, 6 glute bridges, 5 jumping jacks, 4 reverse lunges on each side, 3 push-ups (wall push-ups for me), 2 squats and 1 minute of deep breathing. It will be quite a workout by the time we get to day 12.
This will be a long day, as I will attend my last Christmas work get-together tonight. We will go to an escape room before we enjoy supper at a restaurant. I’m lucky that both places are actually nearby, so I won’t have to face any traffic or a long drive.
Looking forward to reading all about your day. And wishing everyone a great one 🙂
ETA: ok, I think I’ll hold off on the 12 Days of Fitmas, as certain walking movements have triggered a spasm in my lower back…
