ANG Weekend Ghost-ing: Sunday, November 30th

Happy Sunday, ANG Buddies!

It is the very last day of November. Can you believe it?! 2025 didn’t just sprint past me… nope, even a snail is faster than me. 🐌 Meanwhile, December was zooming like a cheetah in track shoes.

Today’s photo is actually from a decade ago, and no, I do not fly - all rights belong to the photographer... 😊 Back then, our river would freeze solid after weeks of freezing weather, and then get a snow cape on top. It looked like nature dressed the river in winter’s finest. Magical, but also a reminder of how much patience it takes for beauty to form. I wish for the same this year, it's been too long.

Workout not done yet, waiting for the start of the 3x3 challenge, might be on my calendar from tomorrow. For today, I’m perfectly fine with just a walk.

From today: zero-ish sugar. ❌ This will be tough, but I want to give my body a little holiday cleanse. My doctor encourages fasting, but like, extreme fasting. He does 48 hours of just water almost every week. 🚰 That’s hardcore hydration… and hunger (though he swears it’s not). Me? I just cannot. Or will not. I prefer my water with a side of… food. 😂

And Happy 1st day of Advent! In our tradition, we light one candle each Sunday, so by the last (the 4th Sunday before Christmas) all four are glowing together. What I didn’t know until a few years back - and promptly forgot again - is that each candle actually has a name and meaning: 1st = Hope, 2nd = Peace, 3rd = Joy, and 4th = Love. By the time all four are lit, the wreath shines with a complete story of the season. 🌟🎄

For me, Christmas movies are lined up to keep me cheerful while skipping the sugar. 🍿

Now we'd love to hear from you- do share the cozy bits, the funny fails, the workout completes, the festive traditions, or whatever’s on your mind. Your stories make this day and season even brighter. 🤗

Enjoy your day, maybe light a candle, and let the season of Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love begin. ✨
