Last Workout of FB Momentum 30-Day Challenge! Day 26: Total Body Strength + HIIT & Cardio Circuits
Good morning FB Family!
You’ve made it to the last workout of the FB Momentum 30 Day Program! And over the course of this last week, you’ve completed some of the most challenging workouts of the program, including your first level 5 routine with Brian on Day 22. Today you’ll have another go at a level 5 workout:
This routine is spicy! We cram a lot of work into roughly 40 minutes and there’s a little bit of everything: strength-forward exercises, HIIT (high intensity interval training), cardio, and full body conditioning. The goal of this workout is to help you endure increasingly longer, more strenuous bouts of training while maintaining solid form during your lifts and improving coordination and agility during your cardio exercises. Whatever your training goals may be over the next several months, this routine is a great way to test your limits and lay the foundation for improved performance in future training sessions! Don’t feel deterred by the level 5 rating. There are plenty of modifications along the way and you’ve put in the work over the past 4 weeks – you’re prepared to successfully complete this workout and enjoy yourself in the process!
As you finish out this challenge, reflect on the past 4 weeks and think about all the habits you’ve built. Notice how the mobility work and the weekly mental strategies have improved your ability to perform at a higher level. Think about the many ways you’ve surprised yourself. Maybe you lifted heavier weights, certain moves felt easier than they did at the start of the program, and/or you started to look forward to your workouts (and fear me a little less, haha). These are all huge changes to celebrate!
Take some time to revel in your accomplishments. Allow your body/mind to recover with rest and restorative movement for as many days as needed after you finish this last day of training. There are a multitude of training options on the Fitness Blender website for you to continue your wellness journey once you feel ready to hop into your next phase of training!
I’m curious – how did you like the 30-day challenge? What’s next for you? Let us know below! I love reading your recommendations for each other as well.
