FB Momentum Week #1 FREE Companion Workout! Quick Lower Body Strength & HIIT Circuits

Good morning FB Family!

Today’s workout release is a shorter, FREE “companion” workout to the Day 1 FB Momentum workout: Lower Body Strength & HIIT Circuits. Over the course of the 4-week challenge, we’ll release one free workout each week that serves as a “sample” of the longer version of the workout included in the challenge. Today’s quick, lower body strength/HIIT workout has a complementary style and structure to its parent workout, and like all other companion workouts, offers a great sneak peek into the 30-day program!  

Companion Workout #1: Quick Lower Body Strength & HIIT Circuits

You’ll complete one strength circuit and one HIIT (high intensity interval training) circuit in this roughly 20-minute routine. Choose weights that challenge you for the lifting exercises and move with intention during the HIIT segment. The workout is quick and will be over before you know it so try to make the most of your short time in-motion! Training the lower body in two different but complementary training modalities is an efficient way to tackle more volume in one training session and prepare your body for improved performance in the future.

I LOVE having shorter duration routines at my disposal for days when I still want to move my body but don’t have the time for a longer workout session. And knowing that there’s a longer version of the routine available for days when I have a greater physical and mental capacity makes the decision-making process for choosing a workout that much easier!
