Hope everyone is doing ok and if youโre not, sending you a hug ๐ค
What are you up to? Working your way into a frenzy? Engaging with your creative side? Or just chilling and absorbing?
Itโs still dark out there so not quite sure how bad the freezing rain aftermath might be but we still have power, so thatโs something. Beyond a walk in the morning yesterday and baking some gf gingerbread cake (so good), it has been a very quiet weekend so far due to the freezing rain which is now being followed by snow. As such, all of our plans for today were cancelled and it will be another quiet day indoors. But I will still do kooky yoga, thanks to an online option. And weโll move our weekly Sunday night get together with friends online too.
Todayโs thought is a reminder to treat yourself like someone you love. If things arenโt getting done, maybe instead of being angry with yourself, give yourself the rest you probably desperately need. If youโre feeling down, maybe give yourself some gentle self care. All to say, hope you can show yourself a bit of love, care and compassion today.
