HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group November 8th
Good early Saturday morning!
For the past two nights, I’ve been able to sleep past 4am, so my sleep schedule is slowly going back to normal after the time change. My ideal schedule would be to go to bed at 9pm and get up at 5am. Working my way up to it.
I’ve been struggling with munching after supper all week. I think it’s been due to a combination of work stress and feeling tired from waking up around 3:30am for most of the week. The rest of the day, I eat on plan and healthily, but after supper, I keep eating. I need to get that in check.
So what are your plans for today and this weekend? They predict snow here tomorrow, so we’ll get all of our grocery shopping done this morning. We’ll also put up our Christmas tree and hope that it fits in our basement living room🤞But we won’t decorate it yet, unless David feels up to it (I need his help for the higher lights and ornaments). He will put up the outdoor Christmas lights, I’m very excited about that.
In terms of movement, I will continue the Blend 2-week challenge. And we’ll go for a walk after supper, to see if more houses have put up Christmas lights. Do you have a workout planned on your calendar or will this be a rest day?
I have a lot of carrots to use, so I’m thinking of making carrot cake muffins this afternoon. I know David would love that, as carrot cake is probably his favourite type of cake. We bought a small freezer, so I’m now able to bake more and freeze some for later, instead of us two rushing to get through 12 muffins or an entire cake. Supper will be leftovers. What’s on your menu today?
After two weekends of watching World Series baseball, it’s back to movie night for us tonight. It’s my turn to choose, but I have not made up my mind yet. Seen any good movies lately?
