There is a riverlet of water where the cottonwoods grow and they turn flame yellow only in the streaks by the river. I think the other trees here are lodgepole pine and juniper. There is a beautiful mountain ridge, but I can’t drive and share it! I stopped in the parking lot of a little white wooden mountain church to take this picture.
I miss exercise, but I’m healing. We head to Phoenix in a week to check on my eye. Lots of student AI use. Lots of nonsense from admin. And so it rolls. 🪨
