Week #1 FB 3x3: Optional BONUS workouts to compliment this week's schedule!

Hey Fitness Blenders!

Week 1 of the FB 3 x 3 Challenge is officially underway. We have so many good workouts coming your way, all requiring no more than 23 minutes of your time in this busy season!

In the off-chance that you find yourself with a *little* extra time (or energy) on your hands this week, we wanted to offer you 2 complimentary workouts each week to add to your training routine. These would fit seamlessly to fill in the gaps without overdoing it.

However, you should not feel pressured to complete these. If you’re happy with a consistent pace of 3 workouts per week right now, let’s keep it that way and applaud that win in itself 👏🏽 These will just be in your back pocket, just in case.

Option 1: Energizing Low-Impact Walking Workout with Patrice (Level 2, 16 minutes)

This energizing walk with Patrice will be the perfect antidote to relieve any tightness from the Day 1 Lower Body and HIIT workout. With low-impact, bodyweight movements, this short routine is accessible and can fit into almost any busy day! There is no cooldown, so please plan to account for a few minutes of your favorite stretches post-workout.

Option 2: Total Body Compound Strength with Erica (Level 4, 20 minutes)

Get ready to fill in any gaps from the week with this “bored easily” total body workout from Erica. Combination moves make this short workout really pack a punch and boost the heart rate for a winning strength/cardio combo.

Example Week 1 Schedule (with 2 complimentary workouts)
Day 1 - Lower Body Strength + HIIT [Level 3] - Tasha
Day 2 - Energizing Low-Impact Walking Workout with Patrice [Level 2] - 16 minutes
Day 3 - Upper Body Strength (Push) + Core [Level 4] - Brian
Day 4 - Total Body Compound Strength with Erica [Level 4] - 20 minutes
Day 5 - Upper Body Pull and Cardio [Level 3] - Nicole

Again, these are simply here as options to add to your calendar, if you’d like! The 3 x 3 Challenge, as written, is built for results already. These are simply *icing on the cake.*

I know it would be so easy to put your workouts on pause until the New Year but I know we can all carve out 20 minutes 3x per week. Let's keep proving to ourselves that it's possible to do hard things and show up for yourself in a busy season.
