How's things? Feeling all breezy today or more topsy-turvy? Me, I'm actually feeling great, in fact I'm feeling super proud of myself.
I've done day 2 of Brian's C&S and I made some nice NSV's. I managed to lift 40's, 35's and 30's for most LB exercises which was great, but what I'm super stoked about is that I was finally able to chest press 30's again. Okay, only for one round and just 6 reps but I did it. Why am I so happy about it? Well, I was able to lift that same weight about 6 months ago, then suddenly I couldn't even get the 30's on my lap again to prepare to push them up. I was so disappointed but nothing to be done right? So I decided to try again today and I did it! So sorry if this sounds *braggery* (what a word!), but I'm so frigging happy with it. Not bad for a 57 year old spring chicken.🤣
Okay, enough self admiration here! Please do tell me what's on your calendars. How are all you Shifters, Elevators, Booty Builders and what nother's doing?
Something I'll be doing today as well is grocery shopping, and while that usually means Asian for lunch/dinner, we skipping it this time. I'm more in the mood for a nice croissant with ham and cheese. Alas that also means I've got to find something for dinner so ideas are more than welcome. Let's hear it ladies!
Okidoke, I'm diving back in my bathroom to blow dry my hair and get ready for hunting bargains in the grocery store.
