It’s been a while since I’ve checked in and I wanted to say hi. We had a busy summer that flew by - I can’t believe it’s already over. How was your summer, how’s your fall so far? Are you staying active, taking good care of yourself?
I’m currently making my way through the 4 Week Elevate program that we released recently - I’m halfway through Week 2 right now. I'm really enjoying the structure, as well as the flexibility of the program. I do so much better with a program to follow; even knowing how to confidently select what I “should” do next, I am so much more likely to actually DO it when it’s just already laid out and decided for me.
I’ve been working on my strength and endurance, getting myself in a good place. I’m looking forward to getting in front of the camera soon, filming some new content. In fact, there’s a really fantastic Team 30 Day Challenge coming in January that Daniel and I will be a part of - don’t miss it!
Have you listened to episode two of the brand new Fitness Blender podcast? It’s so good! I’m loving this new form of content, and I’m so excited for what we can do with it, the things we’ll be able to cover. I honestly tear up listening to our trainers talk, I’m so proud of each of them. Daniel and I are looking forward to taking part in some episodes with our team - we also might do some on our own. What kinds of things would you want for us to cover? Any topics that you’d like to hear from me specifically? Any questions that you’d like us to cover along with the FB team? Let us know!
Our veggie garden was fantastic this year, and we got to eat a lot of great tasting food that we grew ourselves. The featured picture is from late June before the garden kind of exploded with growth - check out the pictures in the comments for some end of season pics. I used to plant in pretty predictable, orderly rows but in the last few years I’ve started to look at my garden as a blank canvas that I get to build in a different way each year. I mix my crops now (kind of have to, to hide things from the bunnies and deer haha), I put trellises in different places to create fun shapes with winding vines that grow 10+ feet tall. It’s really fun. And then by mid October every year, it’s a sloppy, melted, mucky mess. I also read a lot this summer too! I’ll have to check in here soon with my favorite books from the summer.
We’ve got a lot of good stuff coming your way here at FB; we’ve been planning a continuous stream of new content of all kinds, and we’ve got a stellar lineup of new programs and challenges. Stick around and you’ll love it. We’re also always open to suggestions, so never hesitate to speak up and share your ideas with us. Your feedback has always been, and still is, what shapes Fitness Blender.
Thanks for being here and thanks for reading my ramble!
