Hello, blenders, and Happy Tuesday! How are you all doing? I finally bought my first butternut squash of the season and it's now roasted and waiting to be turned into soup and pasta sauce. Any fall recipes that are particular favorites in your household?

My exercise continues to be limited to walking. I keep meaning to put a program/challenge in my calendar, preferably something by Nicole or Erica and then I don't. My lower back is a bit unhappy with me these days so I should try to get myself motivated, I know that starting is the hardest part. Can't believe I worked out nearly daily for three years and now it's been 6 months and I still don't really feel like doing it.

Let's see what I have in my goodie bag. Ever since Lara gave this guy the Dutch stamp of approval, I've been watching his skits and laughing my bum off. I'm at the point where I see the word "Dutch" and I hear it in his voice.

I'm done with my read of Dracula and it ended up being more enjoyable than I expected. We Romanians are often offended by how our country is represented but I must ask, how do the Dutch feel about Van Helsing? That man feels like such a caricature of the Dutch nation. To keep to the spooky theme, I am now two thirds of the way through Frankenstein and excited for Viktor to meet his end because I hate him, with a passion. Was there ever a more wet towel incapable of taking responsibility for his actions? I'm considering revisiting Jane Eyre for my next read. If I ever start raving about Dickens please end my suffering, something must have gone terribly wrong.
