Last night I got back to knitting blue fingerless gloves to go with my cowl. I hope this goes better than the last time I attempted fingerless gloves, they were fine except one was much longer than the other. Oops I must have messed up counting even though I kept notes, I think the problem was in knowing if a 2 row repeat pattern in the instructions counted as knitting one or 2 rows. Rice stitch is a 2 row pattern. So is 10 rows of rice stitch really 20 rows of knitting???

The meme is favorite Halloween meme, Although my new vacuum cleaner is much quieter than my old one. Nellie looks at it cautiously from a few feet away as I am vacuuming instead of running from it. I'm not sure she knows what a spray bottle is unless someone sprayed her before I adopted her.

A walk, coffee with a friend and day 5 of shift are on my agenda for today.
