Friday PPals 17 October 🦹🏻🦦🌶️💰🪲

Hello lovely folks

Friday arvo here, and I have quite a lot to do today. I do not really say "arvo" in real life, I am not Australian enough for that. How is your Friday outlook looking out?

I have been in a terrible mood all week, and also feeling physically not too good. Feeling terrible is normal for me this time of year, but somehow this seemed extra bad. Was wondering if there was something else going on, thyroid or Lexapro or one of my other problems. Got a text from my oldest (longest?) friend yesterday who now lives in Rwanda and got to have a chat with her, and that cheered me up quite a lot. Had a meeting with my supervisor and felt a little better after that too. He didn't show up to last week's meeting and hadn't been responding to emails, and I was worried if he was ok. Turns out he was just busy and messed up. Then the neighbour lady was having a problem outside, same one who stole my flowers, I called the police, some other people also called the police, and she got arrested. The officer was explaining the legal system to me afterwards and why it is so difficult to get this situation cleaned up, which is frustrating but makes sense why this has been going on so long. At this point I've spoken to the cops here quite a few times, and I'm impressed with how professional they've been. She got taken away for the night but I'm sure will be back. Still wound me up pretty good and I didn't sleep well, but also seems to have given me the adrenaline rush I needed to get me out of my funk. Don't really understand the psychology or physiology there but I'm glad I'm feeling better. ???

One of the things I need to do tonight is go to Aldi, which I had better do before they close. Need to bake a cake for tomorrow's dinner and boardgame night with bookclub. The organiser told everyone we are all having gf pizzas so I don't get contaminated by crumbs on the board games, which would otherwise be an issue. The place we're ordering from is certified by Coeliac Australia so I should be safe. Not sure if other people are down with that, but I very much appreciate the effort. This will all involve a fair amount of walking for car-less me, so that will be my exercise. Wanted to do an upper body workout yesterday but got sidetracked with neighbourhood excitement, and since I often get migraines the day after upper body day I think I'd better wait and not jeopardise pizza night.

I started this report having nothing to say, and here I've blathered a whole lot. I'd better hand it over to you. Exercise, food, life updates, rants and raves, bad dad jokes, gardening advice, cat pics, goofiness encouraged.
