🎊 10 years with FB πŸŽ‰

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to take a moment to celebrate my own 10 year anniversary with FB, I saw quite a few posts like this recently - how cool is it that this platform has so many long-term enthusiasts??

In the summer of 2015, I was on a day hike in the Alps with some friends and family, and while it was a super fun day, I was extremely frustrated by being terribly out of breath, and I thought to myself "This can. not. be. it!" I didn't want to be in my mid-20s and feel super unfit. So I started looking for workouts on Youtube and stumbled across this one:

I'm sure that many of you are familiar with it πŸ˜†

The first time I lasted for a whopping 18 minutes and was incredibly sore for four days straight. But somehow Kelli's positive attitude and the clean (no music!!), approachable vibe made me come back for more.

Fast forward 10 years, if I look at my stats they're not even that impressive, because after the first few years of working out at home, I developed a true love for movement of all kinds and have taken it outdoors. Hikes, kayaking, swimming, dancing, workouts with friends - I now have a completely different attitude to being active in general and I am happy to say that I consider myself a strong, adaptable person who no longer struggles in the mountains!

I still regularly use FB for strength training (my absolute favourite) and the amazing foundational mobility/PT-content to work on specific weak spots. It has also been a life-saver during pregnancy and labor. I remember thinking "THANK YOU FITNESSBLENDER" more than once while giving birth 🀣

I even plan to turn my love for movement into my job next year by switching careers and applying for a degree in physiotherapy, because I am so excited about helping people move better and enjoy an active, healthy life.

A note to Kelli and Daniel:

I sometimes wonder how you guys are doing, but I know that you don't owe it to anyone to give regular updates. I just wanted to say that I am so impressed by the company that you have managed to build, one that puts people first and that is sustainable in so many ways. The transformation to a platform with multiple trainers who are very obviously loved by the users is really incredible, and there aren't many places on the internet with such a strong, supportive community.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.
