After completing 2 new workouts with Erica and Nicole this week, I want to say a big Thank you! for many things:
- offering lots of pregnancy- and postpartum-friendly workouts (I definitely missed those in my first pregnancy). The short and/or low impact workout are most welcome with little ones around.
- showing us that working out during pregnancy and postpartum (with the ok from your health provider obviously) is possible, and it's ok and even encouraged to modify. Thank you for sharing your struggles, I felt less alone 😉
- embracing and showing off your beautiful postpartum bodys! I feel like when trainers "hide" the changes in their body postpartum, it sends a message that extra fat or rounded belly or any other change is not normal or healthy, which is not true.
So, to all the Fitness Blender mamas out there: you're doing a great job taking care of yourselves! It's ok to take some you time, away from your kids, to workout. And it's also ok to miss a workout to take a nap 😉
And your body did something amazing by bringing a human being into this world: you're beautiful!
And finally, a special Thank You to Nicole and Erica and all the mama trainers ❤️
To all the mamas, you're doing a great job!
