I'm enjoying a cool morning after a beautiful sunny but unseasonably hot day yesterday. Tomorrow we'll be back in the teens (C), proper October weather. Which means I have to bring in my basil and anything else I want to overwinter pretty soon. Do you put out and bring in plants? Do they get those dastardly fungus gnats? Grrr.

As for my workouts, Shift is working surprisingly well for me right now. I didn't really *want* to do LB strength with the dreaded HIIT today, but looked over the moves, looked at the duration (only 30 minutes) and decided to put my confidence in the program designers. And it was just fine. Minor adjustments have been made: on Saturday I was far too full of energy to take a rest day, but I took it Sunday and it was just right. Which gives me today's thought: "Listening to my body is more important than a check on my calendar or completing my to-do list for the day." (Storm K.)
