HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group October 3rd

Good first Saturday morning in October! It will be warm enough here this weekend that it will feel like it’s still summer. Even the humidex factor will be back, to add a few degrees to the heat we’ll be feeling. But by Wednesday, we should go back to seasonal temperatures.

I haven’t posted in a couple of days because I was exhausted after two poor nights of sleep. David caught a cold and was struggling to sleep, unable to use his cpap machine because of his runny nose, so I couldn’t sleep well either. He seems to be on the mends and made it through this past night, as did I, thankfully.

How has the start of this new month been for you? And what good things are you planning for October? I was so tired that I didn’t do anything worth while the first three days of this month, but it’s still early and I can turn things around this very day.

For October, I am planning to walk at least 30km, to complete Flex R2 and one 2-week challenge, to be consistent with eating healthy and drinking 2L of water daily at least 80% of the time, and I plan to get a haircut. I know that last one sounds silly, but I haven’t had one in a year and I’m well overdue.

As for fun plans this month, David and I plan to go apple picking on Friday. And we’re looking for an outing to do later this month. We might go to the Montréal Botanical Garden to see the Halloween and pumpkin displays, and their Gardens of light showcase at night.

Hope everyone will enjoy a wonderful day and month 🙂
