New! Guided Practice for Setting Exercise Intentions

I’m so happy you’re here seeing this today - this one is all about setting intentions.

This guided practice is for those of you who are well-intentioned with exercise, but struggle a bit to put those intentions into practice. I use the Theory of Planned Behavior - a theory that is used to shift behaviors toward a desired process or outcome - to help you break down your intentions and make it more likely that you’ll follow through.

Guided Practice for Setting Exercise Intentions

This practice will blend a little bit of mindfulness (of course - I typically include this in my practices), setting exercise intentions, and then breaking down the three components that influence intentions: attitudes, social norms, and perceived behavioral control. We’ll wrap up again with some mindfulness at the end! This practice will ask you to be a bit more active than other practices, so you’ll feel like you’re getting a bit of a mental workout!
