HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group September 27th

Good Saturday middle-of-the-night! David’s allergies started acting up after a few days reprieve, so he’s up and I’m up. He’s trying a new medication, hopefully it kicks in quickly.

What is on your calendar for today, exercise, social or otherwise? After doing our grocery shopping, we’ll take care of some odds and ends at home. I will try using the weed whacker for the first time, I’m excited! And we plan to test out our Christmas tree in our basement living room, to see if it fits. But it will go back in its box until November (I love Christmas, but not enough to put up decorations in September). I’m hoping it’s not too tall, as we don’t want to have to spend money on a new one.

I’ll finish week 2 of Flex R2 today. I previewed the workout from Daniel and every strength interval is followed by 45 seconds of jump rope or jumping jacks. I have a feeling I’ll be out of breath and won’t be able to lift as heavy.

We also plan to resume walking after a few days of not doing it. I’ve struggled with being outside since mid-month, I won’t reach my walking goal. We’ll wait until the march for the 15-year old who was shot by police is finished. It will start at the corner behind our house at 2pm and they’re expecting a lot of people. I just hope that there aren’t any trouble makers in the group who use this as an excuse to wreak havoc and break everything. I’ve been worrying about this march all week.

It’s my turn to choose a movie for tonight, and I am leaning towards the 2019 version of Little Women. I hope David and I manage to stay awake. We’ve been falling asleep around 8pm all week.

Wishing everyone a wonderful day 🙂
