Perspiration Pals 24 September 2025

Hi there, Pals! Your terrible host(ess) here. I’m at work and I’m not saying it’s quiet but at least it’s not as busy as it’s been in the past couple of weeks. Thank you for your kind responses I’m feeling a bit better, my dad started his treatment two weeks ago so right now there’s a little stretch of peace that I want to enjoy. The weather is cooler, which is amazing! I was sick and tired of summer.

I started doing Feel Stronger with Erica a week ago and I don’t really know what to do next because I’ve done all the strength training programs and challenges and I’d love another Mass program… just saying. 😊

Let’s move on to our fact-finder fragment. I’ll give you a couple of facts to make up for last week’s failure. Did you know that like casinos, shopping malls are intentionally designed to disorient visitors? The feeling of losing track of time and geography inside a mall is called the Gruen Transfer. A litter of kittens is also known as a “kindle.” The dragon tree of the Canary Islands is famous for its thick, deep-red sap. Called dragon's blood, the resin might be responsible for the intense hue of the famous Stradivarius violins built in the 17th and 18th centuries. Melbourne gave some of its trees email addresses so residents could report problems. Instead, the trees received love letters. Female bats give birth while hanging upside down, catching the baby in their wings as it drops. And that concludes today’s fact-finder fragment.

All right, Pals, that’s it from me today, have an easy day and eat some apples. (random piece of advice)
