What's going on with you? I had a rent inspection yesterday, which went perfectly fine but I was very stressed about. Celebrating by comparing the traits of bad relationships and bad governments, and deciding the only real difference is scale. Tried to relax with an audiobook for next month's bookclub, but really did not like the book (again) so returned it without finishing. I don't think this book club is a great fit for me, but the people are nice and check on you if you stop showing up, so I'm having trouble making a quiet exit. Maybe after I'm done with my relationship vs government Venn diagram, I can make a checklist of the pros and cons of socialising.
Any exciting plans for the weekend? I'm migrainey yet again, and trying to work up the energy to walk to the shops because I hate going on the weekends. I'm low on dunny roll (there's a good Australian phrase for you) and do not like living quite so dangerously. Trying to figure out the rest of my shopping list. I have some leftover potato leek soup, but I think it's going in the bin. I don't make it often because it's not really the healthiest thing ever, but in the past I always found it delightfully delicious. Not sure what happened, but I'm not really enjoying this batch, and neither is my tummy.
Exercise? I might try some upper back stretches later in the hopes they decrease my headaches. Unlikely to have the energy to do more, especially after walking to the shops. In good news, knee is feeling quite a lot better after some pilates, which is encouraging and also a big relief.
I hope it's a beautiful day in your neighbourhood. And even if it's not, come tell us about it anyway.
