Hi there, Pals! How are you today? It’s muggier than ever here, which is the bane of my life (well, one of them anyway) and it’s not even nice and cool. I had to turn on the AC this morning to be able to blow-dry my hair which is absolutely useless because the moment I step outside it’s instant ‘rock star after a 3-hour concert’ hairdo. If my hair is ugly, I’m ugly. You’d think that after a lot of sad news and problems this wouldn’t matter but it still does…
Anyway, I did a 5-flame total-body routine with Brian this morning and I was chuffed to realise how strong I’ve become over the years. I really hope that nothing bad will happen to ruin everything I’ve worked for.
Let’s move on to our fact-finder fragment because you didn’t get any interesting facts last week and I don’t want you to suffer from fact withdrawal symptoms whatever they are. Did you know that first developed in China around the 15th century, toothbrushes originally had bristles made from the stiff hairs on the back of a pig's neck? Pillows first emerged in Mesopotamia around 7000 BC as stone structures designed to keep insects away from people's hair, mouths, noses, and ears while sleeping. The Greeks and Romans were the first to think of putting softer material in the pillows to make them more comfortable. And a bonus fact: The Incas thought left-handers were capable of healing and that they possessed magical abilities. (I’m a wizard doctor.) The North American Zuni tribe believed left-handedness signified good luck.
All right, Pals, that’s it from me today, have an easy day.
