Daily Check-in ANG: Monday, September 9th

Hello again ladies,

I hope you're all ready to spend the week with me again after of course a huge thank you to Shabnam for being our ghostess last weekend. Thanks Shabnam!!

So, how's things coming along? Like... say... workouts. I know Cathy's continuing with Strong 3, Lynne's got FB Beginner on her calendar and Shabnam will get tortured by Patrice with S&S. But what about the rest of you, what'll you be doing?

I've got my eye on Nicole's newest Downtraining challenge but I've made myself another 1 week routine with some of my favorite workouts which I'll do first. Day 1 was a mix of weighted and BW upper body with Tasha and while it was 49 mins, the bored easily style made it fly by.

Which actually leads me to a random question. Has your training style changed through the years? Or the way you work out, 'perform' your exercises? I find myself doing more lifting than cardio, and I've seriously slowed down in tempo, I'm focused a heck of a lot more on form, using the right muscles. And I only do cardio or HIIT when it's in the workout that's scheduled, and even then I'm not going all out. I'm liking the low impact cardio more, still sweaty but lower tempo.

As usual, feel free to ignore the question and move on to a more important item like dinner for example. No idea here yet but I know it needs to involve chicory as I've got some in my fridge that needs to be prepared.

Okido, enough rambling, I'm off for breakfast while starting on my new ARC.
