Weekend Workout Rewind ⏪

Throwback to Tasha’s first-ever FB workout video! Who remembers her Bodyweight HIIT - Total Body Cardio Tabata Workout?

This quick HIIT workout is a bodyweight-only Tabata cardio challenge! Tabata is a form of high intensity interval training involving 8 cycles of 20 seconds of maximum effort work followed by a 10 second recovery. 

You will complete three Tabata circuits comprised of two exercises each. The circuits follow an “AABB” format meaning that you will tackle the first move for two consecutive 20-second intervals before moving on to the second move. Once you have completed two intervals of exercise one followed by two rounds of exercise two, you will repeat everything again for a total of eight rounds. This is a quick HIIT workout, but the effort is still maximum level! Transitions from one cycle to the next are very quick, as we only have 10 seconds of rest in between exercises. During those 10 seconds, Tasha will demo the moderate-level intensity of the upcoming exercise but also provide regressions and progressions during the 20-second interval for those who either want to omit the jumping or want to kick the intensity level up a notch and go full throttle.
