Folks, this is the 3rd week in a row you have had a Friday post from me. Hopefully that is ok with you, but if not, well, there is not a lot I can do about that.

Spring is definitely in the air, it is nearly 20* out, and I have the back door open for fresh air and to try and unthaw the inside of the house. After a very anxious few days I am now feeling decent. Could not get my head screwed on yesterday. Part of that surely was because I hadn't had enough sleep, and part of it I think was related to the amount of caffeine I'd had this week. Made a point of not drinking as much tea yesterday, had a solid sleep, and wowee am I calmer now. However, I love tea and am drinking it while I write this here post. I try to keep it 8 cups a day. That might sound like a lot, but it's a lot less than I used to drink, and is less than I've been averaging this week. For reasons I do not understand, 8 cups of tea is fine (necessary even! or else headache and other suffering!) but I cannot tolerate coffee at all.

In exercise news, I had some idea that I really need to try harder to build fitness. My fitness is really not good right now, and hasn't been for a long time (because of long covid and various injuries), and I find it difficult to really enjoy anymore because everything is difficult and hurts. But that isn't going to change on its own, and I was feeling motivated to be more dedicated about doing what I can. Had a couple of different workouts in mind for today, but my body is so obviously saying I need to park those and stretch or else, that, well, I guess that's what I'm going to do.

I just realised I am missing a key ingredient for tonight's dinner, so I might have to walk to the shops and take care of that. That is not what I wanted to do.

Tell us about your caffeine and overhydration habits, body frustrations, and the items missing from your fridge. Or whatever else is on your mind.

Update: GOOD NEWS EVERYBODY! For the 50th anniversary of Born To Run, which is on Monday, Bruce Springsteen has finally released Lonely Night in the Park. Lonely Night in the Park was an outtake on the original album. Born To Run is, of course, the invention of modern music, and you can only listen only listen to it for the first time once (I might've teared up on the 2nd go around, cos I really love Bruce Springsteen): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRT846R0eho&ab_channel=BruceSpringsteen-Topic
