Perspiration Pals 20 August 2025

Hi there, Pals! It’s a public holiday here, so I’m at home now. It would be lovely to have a day off every Wednesday to rest after that moaning Monday and tuneless Tuesday. Daydreaming again, are we? Yes.

Anyway, I started the day by fretting about sleeping in, but if I don’t set an alarm, I can sleep from 10.30 pm to 8.00 am. Not non-stop because someone (or my bladder) always wakes me up. This time it was a kid at around 5.30 in the morning… then someone yelled buongiorno! at around 7.00… why?? Why in Italian and just why? (My window was wide open, that’s why I heard everything going on outside) Then, when I finally managed to crawl out of bed, I did a routine with Patrice because I’m currently doing Strong and Sculpted.

But enough of boring stuff and let’s move on to our fact-finder fragment. Here are some interesting facts about the female human body: Women’s colons are longer than men’s, so we have an extra level of digestive power, but also potential discomfort. Women’s bodies are crammed with reproductive organs, and this means less space to breathe when gas or food causes trouble… Also, women pee more frequently than men. On average, women’s bladders can hold about 500 ml (17 fl oz), while men’s can hold around 700 ml (24 fl oz). So, it’s not about having a weaker bladder; it’s just that women feel the urge to go sooner. (source: The Infographics Show)

All right, Pals, I’m getting hungry, so it’s time to inspect the contents of my fridge. Have an easy day, and eat your veggies.
