HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group August 19th

Good Tuesday morning!

I woke up around 3:30am, an extra half hour compared to yesterday. I’ll take any extra sleep I can get, any day.

What will this new day look like for you? This will be a busy work day for me, as it’s week 2 of covering for a colleague who is on vacation and I’m working on 3 PowerPoint presentations for my managers. Tonight, David and I plan to go see the Montréal Symphony Orchestra play in a park nearby. The weather will be perfect for an outside concert.

I decided to remove from my calendar the 2-week challenge that I had recently started, because there’s just too much HIIT. I’ve scheduled the FB Remixed challenge instead and today will be upper body strength training with cardio intervals. I’ve not been consistently working out since mid-July, but it’s never too late to turn things around.

On a totally unrelated subject, Sharon and Heather, may I ask for your gardening advice please? I’m contemplating buying raised garden planters that are currently on sale. They’re made of cedar, have drainage holes and come with a liner. They’re 18x48, and the planting depth is 12 inches. We’d like to plant some garlic bulbs in the fall, and would use the planters to grow veggies next year. We’d probably get 2 planters. Are the dimensions appropriate for what we’d like to do, or are they too small, or not deep enough? Thanks in advance for your advice.
