Hello Blendfriends, welcome to the start of another week. It's cooler here, proper seasonal temperatures, which I love. The weather site here called it "solar autumn", the part of summer when the days wind down a little earlier. It's such a wonderful blend of the seasons.
I had quite an eventful weekend. We went across town on Friday and took a nice walk along the river. Saturday was the garden party, our one big social event at the community garden. One of our gardeners is a chef, and he volunteered for (and did a fantastic job with) the barbecue! Sunday, I confirmed to myself that I can work out with weights again and not cause myself pain. I'm sure it won't be perfect every time, but I've been doing well these last few weeks, and I'm calling it a win for perseverance, for believing that I could get here, eventually. And since it is not always obvious to believe we can get there, here's a thought for today.
“Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow.” (Mary Anne Radmacher)
I like the idea implicit in this quote that the ability to -let things go- at the end of the day is part of courage.
Well, that's it for me. I'll check in as possible during the day, or at the end of it. Have a great Monday!
