IT IS FRIGGING HOT HERE!!!! It's only 07;15am and it's already 30C/86F in my workout room! Can you believe we'll be having 42C/107F today????!!! Am I happy about that? No, you can rest assured I'm not, have I got a way to keep myself cool? Yep, but I'll that you about that in a bit.
First let's say a huge thanks to Karen for keeping us entertained as ghostess this weekend. And yes Karen, I can already see you rolling your eyes thinking "I didn't even answer you ladies on Sunday" but you started the thread which was highly appreciated, so shut it and nod while smiling and accepting the thank you.😁
Okido, on to today's stuff. Let's talk workouts first and yes despite the heat I did one. Day 8 of High-Low for me, UB with Patrice. It was that workout where I didn't like her too much yet. Now I like her a lot and I've come to appreaciate her workouts, but this one though won't really become one of my favorites, too hasty for my taste. I did it before but this time did my own thing, I also swapped the OH presses for Z presses, I love those!
What's next? Ah yes, dinner. Well that's where my explanation of "doing something about the keeping cool' thing comes in. We're changing our grocery shopping day to today. Why? Well first of all hubs is out of sparkling water and with this heat one needs to hydrate right? Secondly, the shops all have airco so big win! And lastly grocery shopping also means Asian lunch/dinner AND there's airco there too, so double win!! Woohoo!! And you can bet I'll be taking my time in both places!!😆
Right, enough blabbering and complaining from me for this Monday. Please do cheer me up with your adventures for today but don't make me salivate with your cooler temps or I might growl at you. Just joking!
