Slow and steady wins the race. That is the vibe for this meditation - we are going to take it slow and practice longer periods of silence in this meditation practice. While guidance and direction can be helpful in meditation practice, you really aren’t there to hear me talk. In addition, we are often left to our own minds for far longer than a few minutes at a time and that’s really what we are “training” for with meditation.
So this practice is for anyone who has been wanting to work toward independent mindfulness/meditation practice but aren’t quite ready to take that leap yet. It could also be for those of you who just don’t want to hear me/someone talk too much. Either way - give this one a try and let me know what you think!
