Well, the teenage drama continues! If you don’t want to hear, just scroll on down. Otherwise, let me tell you that currently only my youngest child likes me and the Hubs. The other two are quite upset because Hubs and I are making them work with a guy in our church who owns a landscaping business. The twins have not been very diligent to look for jobs this summer without quite a bit of prodding from us, and when this opportunity came up, we told them they were going to take it, and that until they find another job, this IS their job. They’re a little salty about having to get up at 5 a.m. and do manual labor. My older twin, who is usually very mild and easy going is MAD. 🙄 I think this will be a good lesson for them, and help light a fire under them to really get their booties in gear and look for a job with AC! 😂 Good times.
Question (feel free to skip!): what was your first job? Mine was a lifeguard at a public pool in Phoenix. I did it for six summers, and it helped pay for college. Talk about working outside in the heat!
Okay, let’s get to workouts. What are you doing today? I’ve got day 3 of S&S, core and cardio. But what about you?
Food? Why yes, I *would* like someone else to prepare dinner! What are you eating? I’ve got leftover sloppy joes from the freezer for my guys, something vegan for me. And I have GOT to stop snacking at night! I keep munching on granola or crackers at bedtime, and I need to knock it off.
Pic: my sister in-law took this sunset pic at my mother in-law’s house in Arizona. It was too gorgeous not to share!
Have a great day! Thanks for listening to my teenage soap opera. Tune in tomorrow to see whether or not Coby’s twins will like her again! *Will* the twins decide that $100 a day is not worth the manual labor and getting up at 5 a.m.? Will the youngest child turn on Coby as well? Okay, enough of that foolishness!
