Daily Check-in ANG: Tuesday, July 22nd

Blendies! My sincere apologies at not being able to respond to everyone yesterday. It.was.a.day!

I had coffee with a friend, and then took my youngest to get running shoes. Talked on the phone with my bestie who lives across the country. In between that and all day, the other two teenagers were teenagering hard core. 😖🙄🤦🏽‍♀️ I mean, the attitude and ridiculousness of it were laughable. I was literally laughing out loud at one point.

Which brings me to an optional question: how do you deal with acute stress in the moment? Do you cry/shut down/panic/clench your fists/laugh? I laugh and use inappropriate humor to help diffuse it. 😬 So while my twins were keeping me on my toes yesterday, Hubby and I were texting memes and gifs back and forth to one another to take the edge off and help each other deal with it.

But my favorite way to take the edge off is a workout! What are you up to today in terms of movement? I’ve got day two of Strong and Sculpted- lower body strength.

And what’s for dinner? (Or lunch, or breakfast, or all three if you want to share!). It’s Tostada Tuesday at our house! Leftover sweet potato green curry for me.
