HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group July 19th
Good Saturday morning Blendfriends!
What will you be up to today? What’s on your workout calendar, or will you be taking a nice rest day? Do you have any activities planned? And what good foods will you be enjoying?
I was very down yesterday because of my foot issues piling on, but I decided that I should enjoy being on vacation despite not being able to go on the long walks to new areas that we had planned. I still have 9 days of vacation left and I figure I should make the most of it. And I can always hope that my foot will be healed enough to enjoy longer walks later next week🤞
We’ll be sticking close to home today, since David wants to slow cook meat on his bbq. I’ll use that time to make raspberry and white chocolate muffins and finally try the vanilla and chocolate ice cream recipe that I found. I also want to take a page from Heather’s book and just sit outside and enjoy the fresh air.
I will try resuming the Bodyweight challenge today. The remaining three workouts are all HIIT and kickboxing focused, so I don’t know how my foot will hold up, but I really want to give it a try.
Supper will be veggie burgers (pulled pork burgers for David) with a southwestern salad. And we should be eating all of our meals outside today, which is a simple joy for me. Gotta love summer.
