I have (to my surprise) maxed out my beloved Pro 32s that I bought in 2020 for a number of exercises! I recently ordered the Pro 50s as they seem to be very popular but found that they felt extremely wide and uncomfortably bulky to use (I am 5ft3, slim and have tiny hands) so they were sadly returned.
Which more compact 50lb powerblocks would you recommend? I think I've narrowed it down to the Elite EXP Stage 1s or the Sport 50s. I would probably buy 30mm replacement knurled grips as the 38mm contoured rubber grip that is standard on all of these dumbbells feels huge in my hand and difficult to grip safely. Is it silly to buy the Elites knowing that I'm very unlikely to want more than 50lbs and would have to faff around with removing adder weights to get the 5lb increments of the Sport 50s?
Any advice or experience with these models would be much appreciated - thank you in advance!
P.S. Attached are the dimensions of various powerblocks for reference :)
