PPals Friday June 20 πŸŒžβ›ˆοΈπŸŒˆπŸ‰πŸ¦

Congratulations, we’ve made it to another Friday. The heat wave broke here on Thursday with a little thunderstorm. Look who popped up! This little guy appeared to drink from a puddle. We know it’s a different tortoise than before because his shell is yellow. We gave him cat food, and he loved it.

For exercise, I went to my neighbor’s pool and did a YouTube video of water aerobics since there wasn’t a class at the pool. One of the exercises was standing on a pool noodle in the deep end, so neither the pool noodle nor your feet are touching the bottom of the pool. Next, you did what the instructor called reverse squats, bringing your knees to your chest, and then pushing them back down all the while, fighting against the pool noodle. It’s a good thing I wasn’t doing this in a class full of people. Once or twice, the pool noodle torpedoed out of the water and hit me on the head. Great balance practice though.

Next, I need to be a lumberjack and run on logs in the river! πŸ˜‚ I have one day left of low impact round two and might finish it tomorrow.

The visit with my kids went well, and Saturday we leave to take care of the older generation.

How are things for you? Great exercise? Great food? Great fun? We probably all need to do some silly therapy.

Everyone is welcome. I love to hear your thoughts and chitchat. I’m going to spam you with more New Mexico pictures.
