Hello FB Family! How’s the weather where you’re at? How are your workouts going?
My reads, since our last book chat:
The Light Eaters by Zoe Schlanger - I can’t tell you how much I loved this book! Highly recommend.
Meditation for Mortals by Oliver Burkeman
Death of the Author by Nnedi Okorafor
Careless People by Sarah Wynn-Williams
What It’s Like in Words by Eliza Moss
This is What It Sounds Like by By Ogi Ogas and Susan Rogers
My Workouts
I finished the newest FB 30 (round 5) a few weeks ago - I hit my goal of getting it finished in under 6 weeks. Since then, I’ve been fitting in 2-3 strength workouts a week, and doing a lot of work in the veggie garden.
Some of those FB30 workouts were tough! There are definitely times when I modified a move to be low impact, took longer breaks, swapped out an exercise, etc. But I’m pushing myself to stay consistent and I’m feeling strong. One of the reasons I workout is so that I can garden without hurting myself lol! We’re about to switch over to the part of the year where we grow a lot of the food that we eat - I LOVE it. It tastes so much better and everything's so expensive now that it ends up saving us money, too. How many of you grow a food garden? What’s your climate like and what’s your favorite thing to grow?
Tell me how you’re doing and what you’re reading! Looking forward to hearing from you.
