Daily Check-in ANG: Tuesday, May 27th

Hey there Blenderoos!

I’m about to send some of my guys back into to forest to find themselves- they came back tired and grumpy from poor sleep. 😠 Hm. That’s one of the reasons I don’t camp- horrible sleep! Are any of you all campers?

Hopefully you aren’t too grumpy today and I don’t need to send you to the forest to find yourself! If so, maybe a workout will help! What’s on your calendar for today? I’ve got day 2 of Abs 2, upper body strength:

On a more serious note, Hubs and I had a sobering moment yesterday. We live next door to two women for whom one of my twins works, doing yard work, fixing stuff, etc. - one is in her 70s with some serious health issues, the other is about 63, but very healthy. The 90 year-old mother of the 63 year-old also lives with them, and yesterday she fell. Hubs and I went over to help get her off the floor and into a chair. She was a bit bruised, but no serious injuries, thank goodness! I know we can’t avoid getting older, and sometimes our bodies seem to turn on us and refuse to cooperate, but dang it all if I’m not going to keep doing mobility work and things that support functional fitness and strength! I texted my mom right after helping our neighbors and told her to practice getting up and down off of the floor from a seated position, and to do her kegels!

Sorry for the ramble, but you too- do your mobility and work that pelvic floor! And come back out of the forest once you’ve found yourself.
