This one will take you about 10 minutes and require little to no equipment (single dumbbell optional). We’re working through a series of 11 exercises, no repeats, with both isolation and combination exercises that will build strength, control, and stability. Having strong glute and core muscles create better posture, daily function, and performance across other workouts.
You know I love a comprehensive workout so you better believe that all layers of our glutes and core will be involved in this routine — from our superficial rectus “6-pack” muscles to our deep multifidus, and from our gluteus maximus to our deeper gluteus minimus. We accomplish this through a variety of movements in various planes of motion!
These are all movements I find myself coming back to time and time again, they are my “lifers” when it comes to core exercises :) Especially as I get older, navigate the physical demands of parenting young kids, and aim for my own strength goals.
Use this as a standalone routine or add it on to something else! I can’t wait for you to try this with me.
