Hi all Blender fellows, hope you're all doing well.
So as usual, I don't have any specific goals fitness-wise. But I rather do something that feels like "it's calling me".

Last Saturday, I attended a mini "Primal Moves" workshop in Paris. It said "open to all, yogi or not, just come and be curious". So, I came for the very first time of my life! New place, new practice, new everything... It's a blend of so many practices with quite a lot of ground-base bodyweight moves that require (and will give you later) strength, mobility, flexibility, cardio capacities followed by some Handstand workouts.
The first five ground-base exercises were doable for my beginner level (thanks to my beginner Ashtanga Yoga practice). After that, things got spicy! I was like... "Hhmm what the hell am I doing here? Why did I ever choose to come?" 🧐🤪 I told the other students next to me "Oh, yeah, you go first, please go ahead, I'll pass on this one." Because I noticed that most of them were most likely intermediate and/or advanced movers.
Things got even spicier because... yeah... Handstand, baby! Never did this in my entire life! 🫣 So I was staying quietly in a deep squat (my resting pose) in a corner while the others were playing around with their Arm Balances. After some long minutes, one of the coaches came to talk to me "Never do Handstand before, Tri?" Noooppeee! The next second, she asked me to do Three-Legged Down Dog about 5 cm from the wall. My left ankle/leg on her right shoulder, then the magic push between the two resulted in my right leg went straight up to the ceiling and against the wall. So, that's my first Handstand, folks! Air time: 2 secs. The next second just after I landed my feet again, I was like "Huhh, did I just do a Handstand?" 🤩 Assisted or not, it's a Handstand! Still couldn't believed with what just happened, I asked her "How long did I keep my feet up?" She said and winked "Oh, at least 4 long minutes and 30 secs, Tri. Well done!"
And... as for tomorrow, I'll be heading to Amsterdam attending another workshop: "Budokon Yoga". Again, I'm a first-timer, new place, new practice. Why I'm doing this? I don't know... I felt like it was calling me.
Taking one big leap to try something new
