Daily Check-in ANG: Monday, March 17th šŸ€

Listen, Blendies. Do I love you all? You know I do. Do I also love a good night of sleep? You definitely know that! And being that I haven’t woken up naturally without an alarm since I don’t know when, and I don’t want those of you who are hours ahead of me to have to wait until noon/evening, I’m posting Monday’s check-in the night before. So pretend that it’s 6 a.m. my time and that I’m sitting under a blanket with my first cup of coffee!

Right. Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Do any of you celebrate? I decorated, and I usually make some sort of Irish meal and read a bit to my boys about the historical St. Patrick. This year I made vegan Guiness brownies and it was a flop. The recipe said to only bake them for 13 minutes and that they were supposed to look underdone, but that they’d firm up in the fridge overnight. Well they didn’t firm up at all, and we ended up eating them with a spoon and they were incredibly boozy! My boys told everyone at church that they did underage eating and I got them drunk off my brownies. Stinkers! šŸ™„šŸ˜† I liked the sticky texture, so I ate multiple spoonfuls!

Enough blathering about boozy brownies. Are you working out today? I’ve got low impact cardio with Nicole and some more mobility with Kayla.

Even if you’re not working out, you’ve got to eat. What’s on your menu? My guys are having chili and cornbread. I have leftover BBQ tofu and cabbage steaks for me onesies.
