New FREE Workout! Extended Warm-Up for High Impact HIIT Workouts
Good morning FB Family!
Ever feel like your body needs additional “waking up” time before tackling an intense workout? Today’s workout release could be a helpful way to provide your muscles, ligaments, tendons, and joints with some extra preparation before you press play on a HIIT workout:
Our bodies’ warm-up needs change from day to day and from one training session to the next. On those days where you need a little extra movement in addition to the 5 to 7 minutes that are typically included as a warm-up before a HIIT routine, you can flow through the mobility, dynamic movement, and “practice” segments of this extended warm-up to improve both your physical and mental performance during your training session.
I personally do some version of this “mobility to practice” flow before every single one of my workouts and have loved not only seeing the improvements in my workout performance but also how positively my brain responds to intense bouts of training (increased confidence!).
I hope you enjoy this routine just as much as I enjoyed filming it. Let me know which routines you choose to pair this extended warm-up with and how the additional prep time helps you!
