The total time for the workout portion of this routine is 21 minutes, but it packs in layers of challenge! We complete 12 low-impact cardio exercises for a minute and 15 seconds each. Throughout that time I will randomly call out ‘red light’ and this means you freeze and hold whatever muscle engaging position you’re in until I say ‘green light’ to begin again.
Throughout my pregnancy, cardio has not been a form of training that I’ve been particularly excited about. I loved that this routine still had a heavy strength, balance, and coordination focus that came with a natural cardio effect… I was able to forget I was even working on my endurance!
