Sesamoiditis

Hi everyone. So I've just been diagnosed with sesamoiditis. I'd never heard of it but I was wondering if anyone here has had it or has it and what they did regarding workouts.

The doctor pretty much just said don't put bending pressure on it like calf raises (which I figured out on my own haha) or reverse lunges. I asked about high impact stuff and he seemed to be okay with that but with everything I've been reading online, high impact seems to be out. The doctor said this will come and go but it's been steadily getting worse for the past three months.

Has anyone had this or the similar condition, turf toe? I feel like it's a long shot but I thought someone in the community may be able to give their own experience, especially with HIIT (which is a favorite of mine).
