HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group October 30th ❄️

Snow! I looked out the window this morning, and we're having our first snow of the season. It will probably be melted by lunchtime, but in the meantime, the world has softer edges. So here's a quote from Kahlil Gibran: "Kindness is like snow, it beautifies everything it covers." You may not have snow today, but I hope you will have a chance to make something beautiful with your kindness. Again, I'll be giving you another thought in the comments, from the "frosted side".

Quick check-in from me. After a couple days of outdoor effort -- shoveling to plant garlic and raking up leaves -- I'm feeling the sore-back pattern I've had since spring, so today's workout will be my secret-weapon stretching combo. Then I get a treat, we're going out to lunch to celebrate the retirement of a well-appreciated colleague who is leaving after thirty years. Hers will be big shoes to fill, but the team is already about three-quarters new people as the first generation retires.

Well, time to go stretch! I hope everyone has a beautiful day with soft edges.
