New Workout! Quick Total Body Weighted AMRAPs

Good morning FB Family!

In today’s workout release you will tackle three, 3-minute AMRAP circuits (as many rounds as possible):

Quick Total Body Weighted AMRAPs

You will alternate between two upper body/lower body combination exercises in each AMRAP circuit, moving at a moderate pace while completing four reps of each move. Targeting the upper and lower body at the same time increases the demand on your cardiovascular system (increased number of muscles at opposite ends of the body working at once), thus building total body strength and cardio conditioning in one compact, efficient training session. Use your moderate/medium weights, focus on continuous movement to fill each three-minute AMRAP interval, and play round with pacing, weight selection, and movement progressions to increase or decrease the overall intensity of the workout.

The impact of quick workouts such as this one depends on how much effort you choose to put into your training session for the day! The sequencing, format, and included exercises are all designed to challenge you and comprise about half of the difficulty level rating. Your intent, how you approach the workout, and your personal perceptions of intensity determine the other half.
