New Workout! Single-Weight Core Circuits

Challenge your core strength (and balance) in this progressively challenging routine:

Single-Weight Core Circuits

In this workout, you have the option of increasing your weight load as you advance through the three, 3-exercise circuits. We move from the ground to seated to standing core exercises, giving you a well-rounded test of abdominal strength with full body movement patterns. The single-weight is optional – you can complete every exercise in this workout bodyweight-only or opt for a light weight throughout to become accustomed to any unfamiliar moves and give your body time to adjust to the added resistance.

I quite thoroughly enjoyed this routine but filmed it at the tail end of a long week of filming so I was TIRED. And occasionally saying things that didn’t make sense, haha. This is a great workout to revisit again and again in the future as your core strength improves and you become increasingly adept at each exercise.

Have fun and as always, if an exercise feels painful then stop! Adjust your posture and form and/or take the modification. After all, modifications are really just a set of progressions among progressions.
