Pull Up Progression

Hi everyone! I have been doing FB for 8 years and I am pretty fit but I can do zero pull ups (never have been able to). I have a pull up bar and bands (had the idea to try a couple of years ago that fell to the wayside but I just did a sprint triathalon so now I need a new goal) and a couple of grips attached to a rope for a half assed TRX dupe. The internet is failing me for zero to one pull up progressions. Most of what I'm finding are long winded SEO search term filled articles or B3@$T BR0! progressions that jump to how many sets of pull ups to do at a time pretty quickly. Bonus point for anything that helps a mind body connection since I think part of my problem is I'm trying to use my biceps more than my lats. TIA!
