Active recovery (and practice) hike: some views for you…

After two days of really hard volunteering work, which was very intense for the upper body, I decided to go for a beautiful active recovery hike.

It was:

nice and short, lots of level bits, only few strenuous bits and beautiful views! In spite of cloudy conditions it was mentally and physically just what I wanted!

We are going on a 4 day hiking holiday at the end of August, so today was a nice practice hike for that as well.

With lunch and reading our books in a perfect spot, sheltered from the wind, I couldn’t wish for more. And on the way back a stop at our favourite tearoom for a chai latte and a white chocolate and macadamia cake….

How’s that for an active recovery day?!?
