New Workout! Bored Easily Double Resistance Cardio Toning

Good morning all! 

You will feel the burn in many ways in this workout:

Personally, I loved that this workout infused so many different aspects: strength, cardio, core stability, and per usual… balance! :) Other details that are important to note are that it's low impact, bored easily formatting, and except for a few of the cool-down exercises, it’s all standing. It gets its name “double resistance” because we are using 2 forms of resistance; light hand weights and a circle resistance band. Combining this with total body movements turns the heat up quickly!! 

Those who seek out workouts that blend strength and cardio will be pleased by this one. At times you’ll feel like it’s the weights and the muscle burn that limit you and other times it will be due to feeling out of breath. Of course, the forms of resistance are optional and will heavily affect the difficulty felt in this workout. If you’re adding on all the resistance (band and weights), this routine will feel like a level 4, whereas getting rid of some resistance — whether it’s the band and/or weights — will make it feel “easier." Your pacing will also play a role as well. If it’s feeling too easy at any point, get creative and find your own opportunities to sneak in a jump or more explosiveness. 

When it comes to choosing a resistance band, I am using a fabric material band to help prevent rolling on some exercises. If you just have a stretchy circle band, please still come enjoy the workout!! You may just need to lower your range of motion/do your best to adjust on some exercises. Either way, this workout is guaranteed to fire you up in an efficient amount of time and give you a break from lifting heavier weights — without losing any hard-earned satisfaction!
